There are no tricks here, only treats! Complete a minimum of 12 runs or walks (of any distance) during October and earn a spooktacular medal, plus complete 30, 60, or 100 miles and a bespoke digital certificate (plus some serious bragging rights, of course).
Whether you’re a seasoned pro, or looking to begin your running journey, this challenge is for runners of all levels, allowing you to experience the thrill of running from wherever you are, at your own pace, and on your own schedule. If you’ve taken part in one of our 2024 Great Run events, then this is the perfect way to continue your running journey, giving you extra motivation this spooky season.
Taking part costs just £15*, which includes access to our cracking tracking tool, a red-hot medal, and a digital certificate for finishers. All entrants will also receive access to our exclusive Great Run rewards scheme with Endurance Zone, giving you fantastic offers and deals from some of the biggest sports brands in the industry.
Runs can be of any distance as you take on our Halloween running challenge this October. Just make sure you do at least 12 runs (or walks) by the end of the month to smash this challenge. You’ll receive your very own spooktacular medal as a lasting memento of all the miles you’ve covered. Arriving in November, you can wear it with pride for your friends and family to see. Don’t be a lazy bones, reach your Ghouls this October!
(*Additional booking fee of £3.50 for overseas participants to cover the cost of shipping).
(OPTIONAL) ACCUMULATOR DISTANCE AWARD
Fancy an extra challenge? We have three optional distances for you to aim for. Depending how far you travel over your 12 (or more) runs/walks, we’ll award you a special digital finisher’s certificate to download and share.
30 miles – Fright on track
60 miles – Wicked Effort
100 miles – Fang-tastic Achievement
From 1st October, you can log your runs with our online tracker, or use your own tracking app or device to record your activity if you prefer. Once you’ve completed all your runs and reached your target distance, submit your results and we’ll have your digital finisher’s certificate ready.
