Diabetes UK
Diabetes UK

Diabetes UK are delighted to be the official charity partner of the Simplyhealth Great Run Series 2019. We are leading the fight against the most devastating and fastest growing health crisis of our time, to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. There are currently 4.6 million people living with diabetes in the UK, and 12.3 million at risk of developing Type 2. Diabetes affects more people than any other serious health condition in the UK. More than dementia and cancer combined. That means we need to take action now. It's a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Until we achieve our vision. Join the team and get amazing support and an unforgettable experience. If you have any questions get in touch on 0345 123 2399 or email us: events.fundraising@diabetes.org.uk. We can’t wait to welcome you to our team.

Join forces with the team that will get you to the finish line. We're the only ones fighting over 200 cancer . Our life-saving work is funded entirely by the generosity of our supporters, so every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, and every runner. One in two people now survive cancer. Together we've achieved so much, but we won't stop until we've beaten it altogether. Join the team today and we will beat cancer.
NSPCC
NSPCC
We're the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. Abuse ruins childhood, but it can be prevented. That's why we're here. That's what drives all our work, and that's why – as long as there's abuse – we will fight for every childhood. By taking part in Great North Run for the NSPCC, you'll be helping us to keep children safe.
Mummy's Star
Mummy's Star
Mummy's Star is the only charity in the UK and Ireland dedicated to women and their families affected by cancer during pregnancy shortly after a birth. The news of a pregnancy or recent birth is usually an exciting time for all prospective and existing mums. It can, however, be cruelly interrupted by the news of a cancer diagnosis. By joining the Mummy's Star Team you would helping to raise vital funds to support these amazing women and their families in a way that is personalised and sensitive to each of the individual's needs.
Penny Brohn UK
Penny Brohn UK
Penny Brohn UK has successfully been helping people live well with cancer for over 35 years, with our pioneering Bristol Whole Life Approach. We can show people how to live well with cancer and take back control of their health and wellbeing – before, during and after treatment. Knowing that people need more than just medicine. Our range of services are free to adults with a cancer diagnosis and their supporters. However, as a charity we rely on donations to fund our work, both at our National Centre and across the UK. Signing up to run the Bristol 10K in May 2019 for Penny Brohn UK would help immensely towards helping people live well with cancer.
