A GROUP of colleagues will run the Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run to raise money for a local animal sanctuary in Edenfield.
J&J Fire Engineering, who design and produce fixed fire protection systems, have entered the event’s Business Challenge, and will go up against other companies to be the fastest over the 10k distance on Sunday 28 May.
The team of 13 colleagues are hoping to raise £1000 for Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, which gives animals who have suffered a terrible start in life a second chance.
James Lucas, Design Engineer at J&J Engineering, said: “We strongly believe in supporting the local community so chose Bleakholt because they are only five minutes away from us.
“Some of our staff also volunteer at the centre walking the dogs.”
